Apley Castle Telford

HCA commissioned the practice to prepare a conservation masterplan for this ecologically and historically sensitve site. At the core of the plan was the central avenue of lime trees, the last remaining landscape feature of the Castle grounds and the orthogonality of the walls of the Castle gardens. The plan promoted a formal design response and involved character, conservation, landscape and urban design studies as well as consultation.
