Temple Quay North: Bristol

Following a competition URBED and ourselves were appointed to masterplan this last major city centre site. Located adjacent to Bristol Temple Meads station on the Floating Harbour, the vision was for a mixed use development. Offices with ground floor restaurants and cafes front onto a new south-facing public riverside space. Housing for public and private sectors link the riverside to the neighbouring residences in the adjacent New Deal for Community area. New public spaces, the establishment of a new 'High Street', and a new footbridge all formed part of the new proposals currently being implemented.

Temple Quay 2 was shortlisted for the Francis Tibbalds Awards
